Welcome to the Ennis Town Football Club website! The Ennis Town Football Academy was established by football coaches Declan Farmer & Terry Considine in 2003 and it was the first ever Academy Development Programme in County Clare, Ireland. The Academy meaning ‘School of Learning’ is a development programme designed with a child-centred ethos to ensure that the Child Protection Act is adhered to within a structured football-learning programme appropriate to the age, ability and growth of the player in a safe and fun environment and with the appropriate coaching ratio. To read a copy of our child protection policy, please click here. In addition to the Academy, we have an energetic Schoolboys/girls section with teams competing in the CSSL and cup matches at Under 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 levels. In September 2009, the club designed a new crest and re-launched as Ennis Town Football Club, thereby signaling the intention to serve the soccer needs for ALL ages. In summer 2011, Ennis Town FC merged with with Rock Rovers FC. The Junior team will hereafter be playing as Ennis Town Rock and we wish the team the very best for the forthcoming season 2011/12. Latest News: Ennis Town FC invite all members, supporters, family and friends to help out with an exciting new offer from 3 mobile. If the person signing up to 3 mentions their affiliation to our club when signing up, the club can benefit enormously from a loyalty bonus! In addition, the first 100 clubs to get 50 people or more to make the switch to 3 will get a brand new set of goalposts! Even those who are currently with 3 having recently joined up can go into the 3 shop and register their affiliation to the club. Further details available on the 3 Football link, please click here. Ennis Town Football Academy training will resume on Sunday January 15th in St. Flannan's Hall. Training costs 3 euro weekly per child, and there is a once off annual registration fee of 50 euro with kit and 35 euro without kit per child. The annual Pa O'Brien Soccerathon took place in St Flannan's College on Saturday September 24th 2011. This annual event is a very special day for our club, raising money for Cahercalla Hospice and other local charities. Many thanks for the fantastic support shown on the day by both those who participated and those who contributed. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
